Interior airtightness tape – Ampacoll INT
Product Data Sheet – Ampacoll INT airtightness tape
Area of application: Acrylic adhesive tape for airtight adhesion of overlaps or joins of membranes and board-like building materials, or for airtight masking of penetrations of every kind, in both cases for smooth indoor surfaces.
Surfaces must be clean, dry and free of dust, ice and grease prior to adhesion. Sticking overlapping materials Clean the surfaces and/or base to be stuck as necessary. Tear the desired length of Ampacoll® INT off by handand position it centrally over the gap or joint with the help of the printed positioning line. Adhesion can be further improved by rubbing the tape firmly to stick it down. Adhesion of penetrations When masking penetrations such as rafters, outlet vents, beam ends etc., place the Ampacoll® INT overlapping onto the penetration and rub down firmly. Do not prestretch the Ampacoll® INT when using on penetrations, to ensure that any subsequent movement of components can be absorbed.
Software Modelling
We offer dynamic heat and moisture modelling as well as condensation risk analyses.
