Wood fibre boards on timber lintels

My windows have timber lintels above them. When installing the wood fibre insulation boards with the clay plaster and mechanical fixings, is it ok to apply the clay plaster to the timber lintels?

Hi Ben. Yes, the clay plaster is fine to go over the timber lintels on the part of the lintel facing the room. Inside the reveal you would normally use some of the UdiSPECIAL ADHESIVE to glue the 20mm reveal boards to the underside of the lintel though. Hope that helps.
