Will I save lots of money by insulating my walls?

You will undoubtedly save some money by reducing your heat loss but only around 35% of heat is typically lost through your walls and so it is unlikely you’ll recoup the cost of insulation by the reduction in your heating bill (unless you live in a tent!).

However, the huge gain in comfort and long term health you achieve by insulating your home and the reduction in environmental impact you will be having is absolutely priceless and should be the motivator for your efforts.
