Liner-free paper airtightness tape – Ampacoll Easy – 60mm x 40m
Ampacoll Easy paper airtightness tape is:-
- a 60mm wide, single sided, paper acrylic adhesive tape.
- ideal for taping paper based membranes and smooth surfaces.
- applied straight off of the roll with no lining paper, reducing waste.

Where is it used?
- Ampacoll Easy is an internal use tape and can be used on paper airtightness membranes, such as Sisalex 303 or on standard membranes, such as Ampatex Sinco or Ampatex DB90.
- It can also be used to tape smooth boards such as OSB, ply, coated OSB boards (ProPassiv boards) or Durelis airtight sheathing boards.
How is it used?
- Surfaces should be clean, dry and free of dust before the tape is applied.
- Membranes should not have wrinkles in them, particularly with very stiff membranes (wrinkles can be taped with a piece of tape at right angles to the join to cover the wrinkle) and the tape should be gently smoothed out with the Ampack Pressly spreader once in place.
- The adhesive used on the back of the tape will not adhere to the surface of the Ampacoll Easy and so junctions where the tape overlaps, the upper piece should extend over the lower by at least 30mm.
How much will you need?
- Each roll of Ampacoll Easy tape is 60mm wide and 40m long.
- For taping OSB boards allow 4-5m per m2 of wall/roof.
- For membranes allow 1-2m per m2.

No, the surfaces must be clean and dry. If they are dirty, use the Ampacoll Primax Primer.
