In this video we look at what happens to internal wall insulation when a property floods. The real problem isn’t the water itself, it’s what the water brings in with it, and that changes what has to happen to the insulation afterwards.

It’s a question we get asked a lot, usually at trade shows, because we insulate a fair number of properties on floodplains. The answer is broadly the same whatever the insulation is made from, but the material you specify still makes a difference to how quickly the wall recovers and to what you’re left dealing with afterwards.
