Wood fibre internal wall insulation – Fixing diagrams

Because we supply quite a range of different wood fibre boards, we often get asked to recommend the best way to fix the different sizes and styles of boards. Here, using some simple 3d models, we show how to fix our two main wood fibre insulation boards.

Starting with the UdiTHERM NF wood fibre insulation boards, this is how we’d suggest you fix them.

Each board would be fixed down the mid-line with at least 3 of the Fischer Termoz insulation fixings that we supply with the boards.

For square edge boards like the UdiTHERM SK or the BeltermoRoom wood fibre insulation boards, we’d suggest a different pattern.

This equates to around 5 fixings per board and ensures a tight fit to the wall, even if the wall is not completely flat. The same pattern can be used for the UdiTHERM NF boards if the wall twists or curves or if the boards are not completely flat against the Viton Fein layer behind.

We are always happy to create the safest, most practical specifications for any scenario you may have so if you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
